My Newest Creations

Well… ‘creations’ should be used loosely as I followed a pattern that’s NOT my creation… LOL!  Anyway, I was on a mission several weeks ago to make Kylie an Easter dress.  The first dress I made for her was:

Anyway, after that was finished, I decided that I wanted to do something different.  So I purchased the pattern and fabric and this is now her Easter dress.  She can’t wait to wear it!

Despite the look on her face, she absolutely LOVES it!  She can’t wait to wear it next Sunday!

Mystery of History

So yesterday we began a new history program, Mystery of History.  We’re starting in Volume 1 – Creation to the Resurrection.  So anyway – yesterday we ‘learned’ about creation.  The kids already knew about it but we have to start from the beginning anyway, right?  The kids absolutely LOVED starting this history.

With this curriculum, you do a timeline.  Some people do a timeline like Mandy.  (You can click on her name and see her timeline.)  We are, however, doing something a little different.  For each time we cover, we’ll do a new page for each of the kids’ binders.  Each page will be done in landscape and we’ll have like a horizontal flip type book.

The kids are so excited to go through this!  Here are pictures of our first day’s lesson.
